Orchard Place
Every day the Orchard Place Safety Patrols, made up of fifth graders dressed in fluorescent orange belts, keep the students safe and set a proper example of appropriate behavior!
The patrols, supervised by 4th and 5th Grade Teacher Ms. Liberti and EL Teacher Ms. Pawelek, remind students about the school's safety rules daily.
One of their jobs is to guide students in a safe manner through the building during the lunch periods.
They focus on S.O.A.R. behaviors, which include Safety, On-Task behavior, Always respectful interactions and Responsibility.
The School Safety Patrols encourage all students to follow school rules at all times, report for duty on time and find a faculty advisor if they encounter any problems.
The patrols receive training instructions and guideline procedures during their training session and during regular patrol meetings.
