Orchard Place Elementary School fourth graders in Ms. Christina Dizonno's class spent time working on fraction problems as they rotated through different math stations.

They then solved the rest of the problems in their books independently.

Once they were all done, Ms. Dizonno asked for volunteers to come up and write their answers on the whiteboard.

If a student was having a hard time solving a problem they could ask their peers sitting next to them for help.

Other students sat on the carpet and played a math addition and subtraction game using dice.

In the iReady station students worked on various addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems on their iPads.

Students enjoyed the variety of math stations which challenged them, but also allowed them to work together and socialize with their classmates.
