PE Stations Offer Activity and Some Socialization
Orchard Place Elementary School fourth graders in Mr. Malone's PE class had the opportunity to participate in different physical activity stations this week.
After huddling up at the start of class and learning what the expectations were for that day, the students broke up into three groups.
Mr. Malone had three stations total set up for the class and each group of students rotated among the stations every five minutes.
Station 1 consisted of walking, jogging and running.
Station 2 involved jump roping.
At station 3 the students were able to stretch and do push ups, sit ups and planks.
Mr. Malone said he likes to have students participate in stations after a long break because it gets them moving again.
The students enjoyed catching up with their friends after the long break while also doing fun activities.
