Orchard Place
Orchard Place Elementary third through fifth graders were busy this week rehearsing songs for their winter concert.
The program, titled “A Holiday Twist," features songs such as “There’s Someone in the Chimney," “Turn Off That Nose!," and “The 12 Days of Gym Class."
Each grade level took turns practicing their parts of the performance this week.
Students stepped up to the microphone and announced the songs that would be sung.
The third graders practiced their rendition of the classic song "Jingle Bells," complete with bells on their wrists, while the fourth and fifth graders practiced singing "Feliz Navidad."
Music Teacher Mr. Spero said the students have enjoyed singing holiday classics and other humorous songs with movement, instruments and their beautiful voices.
The students can't wait to perform the concert for their classmates and family!
